Mint Cleaning Solutions
This Housekeeping Service Agreement outlines the terms under which Mint Cleaning Solutions (hereafter referred to as “the Company”) provides professional cleaning services to the Client. By accepting our quote, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
This agreement defines the nature and extent of the services to be provided. Services may include:
- Regular maintenance cleaning (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
- Deep cleaning
- Move-in/move-out cleaning
- Specialized tasks upon request
The cleaning schedule, frequency, and specific service details will be documented in the corresponding quote or service order.
2. Responsibilities of the Parties
- Mint Cleaning Solutions is responsible for executing the agreed-upon cleaning tasks in a professional and timely manner.
- The Client is responsible for granting access to the property and ensuring a safe working environment free from hazards.
- The Client must inform the Company of any pets, alarms, or particular household rules relevant to the cleaning activity.
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All data, property configurations, and personal information provided by the Client shall be treated with strict confidentiality. The Company agrees not to disclose or misuse any client information under any circumstances, except when legally required.
4. Liability Insurance and Coverage Waiver
Mint Cleaning Solutions holds liability insurance for damages proven to result from negligence during the cleaning process.
If the Client explicitly waives insurance coverage, they must do so in writing. In such cases, the Company will not be liable for any property damage, as the Client has opted out of that protection.
5. Inventory Declaration and Special Treatment
The Client must declare in writing any valuable, fragile, or specially treated objects (e.g., antiques, electronics, artwork, custom surfaces).
Failure to notify the Company of such items releases Mint Cleaning Solutions from liability in the event of damage due to unawareness of the item’s presence or treatment requirements.
6. Inspection and Quality Control
The Client reserves the right to inspect the completed service to verify that it meets the agreed-upon standards.
If issues are identified, they must be reported within 24 hours of service delivery. The Company will review and, where applicable, address the concern at no additional cost.
7. Payment Terms
Payment conditions include:
- Amount and frequency (e.g., per visit, weekly, or monthly) as specified in the service quote
- Accepted methods: cash, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or payment app (as agreed)
- Additional charges may apply for services not initially included, emergency requests, or materials required beyond the standard package
Failure to pay on time may result in service suspension or legal collection actions.
8. Legal Compliance
This agreement adheres to applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding cleaning service operations. Mint Cleaning Solutions will maintain proper insurance and business licensing as required by law.
9. Modification and Termination
- Either party may terminate the agreement with at least 24 hours’ written notice.
- Modifications must be requested in writing and mutually agreed upon.
- Immediate termination may occur in cases of unsafe conditions, harassment, breach of agreement, or illegal activities.
10. Written Agreement Importance
This written agreement ensures that both parties understand their obligations and responsibilities. It minimizes misunderstandings and provides a legal framework to resolve disputes, thereby enhancing the professionalism and reliability of the service relationship.
11. Promotions and Referral Program
- New clients only: the referred person must be a new customer (no prior bookings, quotes, or services with Mint).
- One reward per referred household: maximum 1 discount per referred address.
- Limit per person: up to 5 discounts per person per calendar year.
- No self-referrals: invalid for same name, phone number, email, or payment method.
- Minimum order: valid only for services over $120 (before taxes/fees).
- Not stackable: cannot be combined with other promotions, credits, or “first-time” discounts.
- Deferred redemption: credit is applied 72 hours after the referred service is completed and paid with no disputes.
- Expiration: each $20 credit expires 90 days after issuance.
- Code required: referral code must be entered at booking; not applied retroactively.
- Eligible areas & services: valid only within Mint’s active service area and for standard residential services (excludes commercial/move-out/post-construction unless stated otherwise).
- Fraud prevention: Mint reserves the right to void credits and/or suspend accounts in cases of fraud, duplicate requests, false identities, or system abuse.
- Right to modify: Mint may change or end the program at any time by updating this page.
- Non-transferable: credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Taxes & tips: the $20 discount applies to service fees only; taxes, fees, and tips are calculated on the original subtotal.
